WELCOME TO WILLOW PARK SCHOOL
Where we're CURIOUS, ENGAGED and FLOURISHING
Most Recent
We are an independent SEND school based in Rugby, Warwickshire on the grounds of Newbold on Avon RFC. We specialise in meeting the needs of primary-aged pupils with Communication & Interaction difficulties and a diagnosis of Autism. We have a calm, supportive and nurturing environment in which children are able to focus on their educational development and their Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
Who We Are at Willow Park?
At Willow Park, we are a vibrant, inclusive community where communication and interaction are at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a place where every child is celebrated for who they are, and where their voice—however it is expressed—is valued and heard.
Our curriculum is:
-
Play-based and child-led
-
Grounded in the EQUALS Curriculum
-
Designed to promote engagement, independence, and well-being
Communication is our foundation—from Makaton and AAC to sensory stories and visual supports, we ensure every child can connect, interact, and thrive. Our staff build trusting relationships, celebrate every achievement, and create a joyful, sensory-rich environment where children feel secure and empowered.
At Willow Park, we believe that learning happens through meaningful experiences, real-life connections, and a curriculum that adapts to each child’s needs and aspirations. We are committed to preparing our pupils for life—helping them to know themselves, communicate their needs, build relationships, and take part in their community with confidence.
